|OD Description=The Global Warming Mitigation Project (GWMP) is thrilled to announce that the total prize purse for the 2023 Keeling Curve Prize (KCP) has doubled to $500,000, thanks to a robust fundraising campaign that raised money from individuals and foundations that are committed to accelerating climate solutions and protecting the planet for future generations.

The Keeling Curve Prize Application for 2023 closes in just one month and we want every eligible project to seek this potential opportunity to win $50,000.
Please help us spread the word to nonprofits and startups in your network that are doing innovative work to mitigate the climate crisis by sharing the application in your communications and social media channels. We appreciate your supportive efforts to share this news to help create a cleaner, sustainable and more equitable world!

Our team is looking for projects with a proven track record of replacing, reducing, and/or removing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.
The increased prize purse allows GWMP to award $50,000 to two projects in each of the five KCP categories: Energy, Finance, Carbon Sinks (natural & engineered), Transport & Mobility, and Social & Cultural Pathways.
