It explores both supply and demand-side aspects that can enable developing countries to increase their net irrigated areas, reduce emissions, and improve farmer incomes. We are looking for an experienced professional with hands-on experience and deep sectoral understanding, to build and expand our work on solar-powered irrigation.<br /> <br /> <br /> India, and the developing world at large, is at an inflexion point in solar pump adoption. But without necessary policy environments and appropriate delivery services, solar irrigation runs the risk of widening inequality in irrigation access and creating environmental hazards.
