About The Role&lt;br /&gt;
The A2EI is looking for an experienced and motivated data scientist to help with our SKGS (&amp;quot;Solar Killed The Generator Star&amp;quot;) project. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with Python, including the commonly used data analyses packages (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, ipython notebooks, etc.) as well as collaborating in a team using versioning tools (git).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He/she will be experienced in the data science workflow (pre-processing, cleaning, exploring, and finally summarizing and visualizing), and able to clearly report findings to stakeholders.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The main task of the Data Scientist will be an analytical one, where the candidate will be tasked with regularly monitoring and checking for data-quality issues within large amounts of usage data from our SKGS systems.&lt;br /&gt;

Carry out pre-processing of structured and unstructured data&lt;br /&gt;
Automate collection processes&lt;br /&gt;
Identify valuable data sources&lt;br /&gt;
Analyze large amounts of information to detect trends and patterns&lt;br /&gt;
Present information in a clear and structured way, both orally and with the help of data visualization tools&lt;br /&gt;
Collaborate with the engineering and the product development team&lt;br /&gt;

Your Profile&lt;br /&gt;

5+ years proven experience as a data scientist or data analyst&lt;br /&gt;
Experience in using versioning tools (git)&lt;br /&gt;
Experience in data extraction (e.g. API, hardware configurations)&lt;br /&gt;
Knowledge of Python (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, ipython notebooks, etc.); familiarity with R, SQL and Java is an asset&lt;br /&gt;
Analytical mind and business acumen&lt;br /&gt;
Skills in statistics and algebra&lt;br /&gt;
Problem-solving skills&lt;br /&gt;
Excellent communication and presentation skills&lt;br /&gt;
business fluent in both English and German&lt;br /&gt;
