|Job description=The Senior Energy Regulatory Analyst will apply subject specialized knowledge in the areas of electricity regulation and renewable energy development in support of GGGI’s regional Eastern Caribbean program. The Senior Energy Regulatory Analyst will provide direct support to the Saint Lucia National Utilities Regulatory Commission (NURC) to develop capacity in areas related to renewable energy policy and regulation and support development of related regulations, procedures, and policies The Senior Energy Regulatory Analyst will also work closely with the GGGI Caribbean Representative and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS Commission) to support implementation of regional sustainable energy frameworks by developing regional guidance for various aspects of electricity regulation related to incorporation of renewable energy. The Senior Energy Regulatory Analyst will also support development of regional programs jointly with the OECS Commission and OECS member state governments to further the goals of facilitating increased adoption of renewable energy and other low-carbon technologies while ensuring an equitable and economically feasible energy transition.
