A TED Talk on 'Creating a democratic demand for clean air' delivered recently by Dr Arunabha Ghosh, CEO, Council on Energy Environment and Water (CEEW):

Mission 80 - 80 -80

The talk outlines a plan Mission 80-80-80 to put India on the path to cleaner, safer air - and highlights how every citizen can play an active role in getting there. In the talk, Dr Ghosh suggests that by the time India turns 80 as an independent nation (in 2027), it should aim to reduce air pollution by 80% in 80 cities. He also recommends five key measures to reach this goal: Educate oneself, become active monitors, be prepared to pay a price, build empathy for fellow citizens, and change one's lifestyle.
