| Decarbonizing the electricity sector has received heightened attention worldwide amidst growing concerns of climate change. Towards reaching this end, numerous clean energy innovations have been attempted across countries that increasingly emphasized on various renewable energy technologies. Of late decentralised renewable energy interventions have caught the attention of policy makers and private sector players in significant ways due to multiple benefits associated with these systems, importantly as a form of eco-innovation.
