From 16.-19. May, our energypedia colleagues Ranisha and Diane represented energypedia in the Humanitarian Energy Conference as well as at the Sustainable Energy for All Forum in Kigali, Rwanda.

This year’s SEforALL forum was a landmark event marking the 10th year of SEforALL and called for bold actions and innovative solutions to meet the SDG goals by 2030. Numerous financial commitments amounting to over USD 347 as well as new partnerships and initiatives were announced [[1]] at the conference. It also was the first forum happening on the African continent, and SEforALL in cooperation with the government of Rwanda did a great job in professionally organizing the event.

After two years of pandemic and virtual interactions only, it felt particularly pleasant to finally meet up with other colleagues and partners from the energy access community and discuss news and challenges in person again.

At the Humanitarian Energy Conference (HEC), our panelist Ranisha Basnet showcased the different energypedia knowledge exchange products, namely the Humanitarian Energy Webinar Series, Private Sector Stakeholder database, Humanitarian Energy Video Library and the Humanitarian Energy Knowledge Hub.

Have a look at the different tools and should you have any feedback, please don’t hesitate to share with us!
