Description
The Federal Government of Nigeria in collaboration with Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) invites you to attend the Global Launch of the Nigeria Integrated Energy Planning Tool on Thursday, 3 February 2022 at 16:00 WAT / 10:00 ET.

The new data-driven interactive Nigeria Integrated Energy Planning Tool will play a vital role in helping Nigeria achieve its shared energy access by 2030 alongside energy transition Net Zero goals by 2060. The energy planning tool is powered by extensive geospatial modeling and layers of data, and for the first time covers electrification, clean cooking, and productive use. The interactive platform will provide actionable intelligence for the Government and private sector stakeholders to deliver the least-cost access to electricity and clean cooking in Nigeria.

The Nigeria Integrated Energy Planning Tool was developed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in collaboration with Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) with support from The Rockefeller Foundation.

We are honored that the Launch will host HE. Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, Vice President of Nigeria who will be joined by Damilola Ogunbiyi, CEO and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Sustainable Energy for All and Co Chair of UN-Energy; Riccardo Puliti, Vice President for Infrastructure at World Bank, Dr. Rajiv Shah, President of the Rockefeller Foundation as well as other High-level speakers and innovators. The final agenda will be shared closer to the event.
