Description
The PV-Workshop of “Ingenieure ohne Grenzen” is intended for everyone who is interested in installing a PV off-grid system in a developing country. Experienced lecturers in the field of solar island systems give insights in the physical and technical fundamentals and also cover typical challenges and obstacles associated with off-grid projects. The sessions will be instructed by renowned experts such as Peter Adelmann, professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Ulm.

The focus of the workshop is the strong practical orientation. All required steps how to design and build a solar off-grid system will be covered in an exemplary project: Calculation and design of a system, mounting on a roof-top, commissioning and maintenance of the system.

The workshop is intended to initiate and foster a network of enthusiasts for PV off-grid systems, which can help to share experiences of already implemented projects as well as support to initiate new projects.

The workshop will be taught completely in English.
