English: This assessment tool is built around a checklist of criteria that are likely to affect the sustainability of Mini-grids. By choosing a set of queries and selecting their signifiance, the user of the tool can evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of one or a set of mini-grids in a given context. Project implementers and government officials can hence use the tool to reflect on possible risks that could undermine the sustainability of a Mini-grid. The tool can be used for planning, spot-checks or periodic re-assessments.
