Overview

The Fourth German-Tunisian Energy Day (Participation) (French: "Quatrième Journée tuniso-allemande de l’énergie Participation"; German: "Vierter Deutsch-Tunesischer Energietag Partizipation") took place on November 25, 2014. The Secretariat of the German-Tunisian Energy Partnership (project financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and executed by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)) organized the conference along with a support from the Tunisian Ministry of Industry (MI).

Tunisian Industry Minister, Mr Ben Naceur and German Deputy Director General for International Energy Policy Ms. Borak opened the day with speeches regarding the respective energy strategies of Tunisia and Germany. A hundred German and Tunisian energy experts, entrepreneurs and decision makers attended the conference and contributed to a vivid discussion thus materializing the theme of the day: Participation
