Eligibility/Description
Green Energy for Citizens (GEC) promotes the dissemination of productive solar energy technologies in off-grid rural areas of Côte d'Ivoire. GIZ will launch a results-based financing programme that provides financial incentives for the successful sale and installation of solar power systems for productive use. Within this framework, companies marketing solar refrigerators/freezers and solar water pumps for irrigation are eligible for incentives.
The expression of interest is open to all companies active in the solar energy sector with experience of the technologies in productive use. They must provide the following documents by 10 September 2021:
The legal existence of the company (trade register and certificate of non-bankruptcy), The tax certificate dated less than 3 months, The social security certificate for the last quarter before the date of submission of the application, Application form for the notice of expression of interest The documents of the expression of interest written in French must reach the office of the
