Eligibility/Description
The State of Côte d'Ivoire (State or Licensing Authority) has mandated the International Finance Corporation (IFC), acting through its PPP transaction advisory services department (IFC Advisory), to act as lead transaction advisor. With the support of IFC Advisory, the State represented by the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy and Energy intends to invite development companies or consortia from the private sector to participate in a competitive selection process of one or more independent power producers (IPPs) for the design, financing, construction, installation construction, installation, commissioning and operation of two photovoltaic power plants with an anticipated aggregate installed capacity of total anticipated installed capacity of at least 60 MWp located in Laboa and Touba in Côte d'Ivoire (Scaling Solar™ Côte d'Ivoire or the Project).
The State will structure the Project using the World Bank Group's Scaling SolarTM initiative. The contract is made up of two (2) separate lots. A bidder may compete for either or both of the two (2) lots, and may be awarded both lots if it offers the best price. The term of the Concession will be twenty-five (25) years.
