RES4Africa launched the 2023 Young Talent of the Year Award in collaboration with Enel Green Power and the European Investment Bank, and with the support of SDG7 constituency. The initiative aims to support young Africans with groundbreaking ideas in the RE sector with a financial award, as well as by being invited to present their projects at major conferences and forums. Participation in the Young Talent of the Year 2023 Award is open to all young African innovators who fully meet the following criteria:
- Between 18 and 33 years old; - African nationality; - Owners or representatives of the innovative idea(s) in her/his community in the REs sector in Africa; - Be an individual, a start-up or a group of people represented by a team leader;
- Good knowledge of English.
