Overview

EnDev Indonesia conducted a technical review and baseline data survey for over 300 PV mini-grids in Indonesia, ranging from 15 to 150 kWp capacity.

The technical review is conducted by two personnel. It consists of experienced technician and one assistant. The inspection is conducted within 2-days site visits. The team completes prepared checklists and questionnaires as well as train the beneficiary communities on system operation, maintenance, and administration. Findings from these inspections are summarised and submitted to the partner for subsequent follow up with the contractors. In addition, baseline data is captured for a comprehensive database on EnDev-supported rural electrification projects.

The Inspection guide presents the checklists, measurements form, and KPI questionnaire, as well as explanatory documentation compiled during this program and adapted to capture essential lesson learnt.

The purpose of the Inspection Guide is to record the process and make templates available for future inspections by any interested third parties. First version of this guide was published in October 2013. This updated version includes the latest templates.
