Abstract
This document is specifically aimed at familiarizing companies and entrepreneurs with what mezzanine structures are and how they work best in the context of the A2E sector in SSA. The Energy Entrepreneurs Growth Fund (EEGF) is an investment fund that provides financing and technical assistance to entrepreneurs operating in the Access to Energy (A2E) sector, which includes off-grid electricity and mini-grids, in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
