Abstract
The RE4R project is helping refugees and their host communities access finance, training, technology and expertise that promotes the use of renewable energy to power homes, schools, businesses, and communities.

Refugees in Rwanda and Jordan most often do not have sufficient access to energy to meet their basic needs, or to live fulfilling, safe, and productive lives. Working directly with refugees and the communities that host them, along with governments and local partners, RE4R is increasing access to renewable energy.

This factsheet details each intervention and can be used by anyone who would like to understand our models for delivering sustainable, efficient, affordable and reliable renewable energy services to refugees in humanitarian settings.
