Climate change is not just an environmental issue, but a social issue as well. Every strategy put in place to address the climate crisis has repercussions on people and communities. Decisions related to climate change, therefore, need to balance economic growth, environmental preservation, and social justice. Effective delivery of authoritative and scientific information about the climate crisis and its possible solutions is of paramount importance to make informed decisions both on a community and individual level.
This seminar, organized in the framework of the 2nd level specializing Master in Climate Change: adaptation and mitigation solutions of Politecnico di Torino, aims to: address the global patterns of inequality intertwined with climate change and explore its moral dimensions on a community level. provide tools and skills on how to educate and mobilize different audiences to take action and confront the climate crisis.
