Description
We would like to extend you an invitation to the event: “Climate Technology Transfer Mechanisms and Networks in Latin America and the Caribbean: Experiences in Energy”, on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021, from 14:00 to 15:30 HRS EST.

In this event, Fundación Bariloche will present the main results, lessons learnt and recommendations related to the energy activities executed under the Project “Climate Technology Transfer Mechanisms and Networks in Latin America and the Caribbean”. The Project was implemented by the Inter-American Development Bank and funded by the Global Environment Facility. The coordinators and some sector experts will share key aspects of the actions carried out in the region during the last five years. They will present a critical review of the 32 studies that made up the project and provide an overview of the problems faced by the countries in the region to remove the barriers for the implementation of Climate Change Technology projects.

The experts will also present with more detail one of the 23 studies, namely, the Comparative Analysis of Energy Solutions for the Mendoza Andes, which seeks to replace the use of liquid fuels for energy supply.
