To accelerate action to achieve clean and affordable energy for all (SDG7) on a trajectory in line with the Paris Agreement and the SDGs, Energy Compacts are being mobilized by UN-Energy as part of the UN High-level Dialogue on Energy in September 2021. All stakeholders – including national governments, cities, businesses and civil society organizations – are invited to prepare their voluntary commitments in the form of Energy Compacts. These include the specific actions they will take to achieve SDG7 by 2030 in line with net-zero emissions by 2050.
