|| Guinea-Bissau is carrying out several initiatives that are transforming the country in a market with several opportunities for sustainable energy investment. This conference aims to raise awareness of the renewable energy and energy efficiency market in Guinea-Bissau and its opportunities by creating an environment where it is possible to contact government officials at national level and bring together the various stakeholders in the sector, thus stimulating the creation of new partnerships that could lead to the development of projects which will enable Guinea Bissau to achieve the targets set for 2030.
This is an opportunity to increase your network of contacts in the renewable energy market, since ALER expects about 120 participants, from Guinean public institutions, private sector, financiers, multilaterals and bilaterals institutions engaging in renewable energy support programmes, NGOs and academic institutions.
Simultaneous Portuguese-English and English-Portuguese translation will be available. Participation is free but requires prior registration.
The high-level event is co-organized by the Government of Guinea Bissau, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) in cooperation with ALER and other partners.
