Description
The Global Platform for Action (GPA), a UN lead consortium of partners to achieve SDG 7 in displacement settings, is organizing a workshop for humanitarian and development practitioners in the Sahel region to exchange and learn about the energy situation for the displaced population. The Sahel region— Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger—is facing a severe humanitarian and protection crisis. There is an increased interest for collaborative humanitarian and development actions to implement impactful interventions in improving access to energy for displaced people and the host communities. As a first step, we would like to invite you to the workshop on Energy Access for Displaced Population in the Sahel.
