CLASP has received funding from the UK DFID toward the cost of the LEIA project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the accountable grant for consulting services.
It is envisioned that LEIA will be a five year program and CLASP wishes to assess whether there are a sufficient number of interested and qualified private sector parties to participate in a competitive procurement process for specific requests for proposals to support various aspects of program delivery.
In Year 1, it’s anticipated that the program will undertake the following activities: designing and launching awards and prize programs, aggregating demand through coordinated vendor identification and/or procurement, procuring and testing products, analyzing data, communications, market stakeholder education, consumer research, market research, impacts research, and technology roadmapping. Programming in Years 2 through 5 will evolve based on insights from annual reviews.
We encourage potential consultants to apply for prequalification, even if they do not have experience in the target geographies and technologies.
