|| IRENA Global Gender Survey of the Wind Energy Industry
|| International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) & the Women in Wind Global Leadership Program
|| Only *32%* of the global renewables workforce is composed of *women*, and
only 7% of the sector’s leadership positions are held by women. Facing the
tremendous challenge ahead to achieve a 1.5-degree pathway, we need to maximise our available human resources and capacity for innovation.
The Women in Wind Global Leadership Program*, co-organized by the Global
Wind Energy Council and the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition, has partnered with IRENA to conduct a Global Gender Survey of
the Wind Industry.
This* survey will be the first of its kind* providing data-driven insights
on the roles and representation of women in the global wind sector.
If you are working in the wind industry, *your input* is needed to create the most *accurate* and *reliable* data possible to help create better policies that encourage greater gender diversity.
The survey is available in English, Chinese and Spanish, and is* open to
all organizations and individuals (including women and men) *working in
wind energy. It requires 15-20 minutes to complete and answers remain
