|Pub Abstract=Private sector finance for NDC implementation in sub-Saharan Africa (PRINDCISSA) was a multi-year research project funded by the Swedish Energy Agency. The Stockholm Environment Institute was the lead organisation on the project and was supported by Perspectives Climate Group and SouthSouthNorth. The project assessed how the private sector can be best incentivised to contribute to the financing of mitigation and adaptation activities as part of the implementation of NDCs. The project identified possible synergies between mitigation and adaptation activities, and explored the private sector’s role in supporting activities with mitigation and adaptation benefits.
