Insert Formulas
Energypedia also offers the possibility to include formulas in an article. To insert a formula:
1. Open the article in edit mode and click on "Insert". Select "Math Formula"
The Wikitext code for an example formula looks like this:
<math> \operatorname{erfc}(x) = \frac{2}{\sqrt{\pi}} \int_x^{\infty} e^{-t^2}\,dt = \frac{e^{-x^2}}{x\sqrt{\pi}}\sum_{n=0}^\infty (-1)^n \frac{(2n)!}{n!(2x)^{2n}} </math>
Which results in a formula like this:
What you see is:
- The overall formula needs to be enclosed by <math> and </math> tags.
- The formula itself is written in LaTeX code
