Under this call for proposals the Climate Investment Platform will be supporting proposals that present technical innovations, put forward by (majority) women-led organizations or organizations whose main focus is women’s empowerment, that directly enhances the productivity of demand-side users of renewable energy or provide a combination of value-addition and renewable energy generation in a single tool. Preferably, innovations should show a potential to increase productive capacity for economic niches that are predominantly occupied by women.
