The GIZ project "Energy Efficient Building Refurbishment in Mongolia" (EEP) works with the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar (MUB) and other stakeholders on public investment management and energy efficiency in the building sector.

The energy sector, especially the construction and housing sectors, can play a significant role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, it is very important to make buildings as environmentally friendly and green as possible.
