Minimum Qualification and Experience
 
i) Honours degree in a business or science related field from a recognised university.
 
ii) Master’s degree in business management, project management, international development,
 
economics, finance, renewable energy, or related field from a recognized university.
 
iii) At least seven (7) years relevant work experience in project management position(s) of
 
similar projects/programs with a focus on consumer and enterprise financing.
 
iv) Experience with clean energy technology financing off-grid energy services (solar and
 
clean cooking technologies) will be will be an added advantage.
 
v) Demonstrable skills in business development or relationship management.
 
vi) A high level of interpersonal and people management skills and ability to motivate the team
 
to deliver and work with fast paced teams in the organisation at all levels.
 
vii) Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, multitasking skills, time
 
management and ability to prioritize tasks.
 
viii) Proven coordination and multi-stakeholder management skills with capacity to engage
 
strategically and monitor implementation judiciously.
 
ix) Working proficiency with computers – such as Ms Power Point, and Ms Project.
 
x) High integrity and prudence in handling resources.
 
xi) Must be self-driven with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and
 
deliver amidst tight deadlines.
 
xii) Excellent communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
