About EnDev

The EnDev programme is a multi-donor development initiative operating in over 20 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Its aim is to promote access to energy for households, small and medium-sized enterprises and social institutions. Special attention is given to gender equity and the "Leave no one behind" approach. EnDev Benin

EnDev has been active in Benin since 2009. Its activities cover all departments of the country. EnDev Benin follows a market development approach and is currently focusing on the off-grid solar energy and clean cooking energy (improved cookstoves) markets. EnDev Benin carries out its activities by involving private initiative and public institutions in the energy sector.
