As four forces reshape our societies, today's youth need engaging, reliable information on how each – and on how they interact.
🌍 Climate Change | ⚡ Clean Energy Transition | 💻 Digitalisation | ⚖️ Social Justice
Yconic is a wiki-based platform designed to help youth grasp key aspects of these complex challenges. It also helps them develop communication skills that prepare them to be advocates, activists and actors.
Critically, Yconic also gives teachers Lesson Plans, ideas and tools to engage students.
Over its Pilot phase (2024/25), students and teachers from schools in three countries – Bulgaria, Italy and Spain – tapped into Yconic to learn, create and collaborate. A post-Pilot survey finds that 86.5% of students rated their Yconic experience at 3 or higher (on a scale of 5). Teachers report that it made lesson planning easy and boosted their confidence in topics for which they lack in-depth knowledge.
As teachers prepare for the 2025/26 year, Yconic is preparing to go global! Scroll down for more details...
