Welcome to the Project Resource Center Help Section

You can find help on topics such as the objective of the Project Resource Center, how to use it, what content it contains as well as how new content can be added.

FAQs are listed in the table of contents below. By clicking on the question you want to be answered, you will be redirected to the answer. For further questions, you can also contact the energypedia team directly.


What is the Project Resource Center and why was it created?

The Project Resource Center (PRC) is a joint initiative by the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) and energypedia. It offers project-relevant renewable energy (RE) documents to the global energy community. Its main objective is to help making RE project planning and implementation more efficient and to facilitate knowledge exchange across organizations and countries.


How can I contribute content?

If you are an organization that is interested in contributing information to the PRC please contact energypedia at info.energypedia.info

Every registered energypedia user can add relevant documents to the Project Resource Center.


How do I use the Project Resource Center?

The Project Resource Center allows you to search, browse and add documents.


Search

If you want to search for documents, apply one or more criteria from the search options provided. The results will be displayed on top of the page. You can sort the results lists by clicking on the appropriate criteria in the result table’s header. Click on the document's title for additional information on this document. Alternatively, you can browse through the full document list at the end of the Search page, which can be sorted in the same way as the results table.


Browse

You can browse through document lists depending on what type of document you are looking for. By clicking on the document types listed in the table of content on the browse page, you will be automatically redirected to the list of documents in this category. You can sort the results lists by clicking on the appropriate criteria in the result table’s header. Click on the document's title for additional information on this document.


Add

Add new documents to the Project Resource Center by using the upload mask. Please include all the required information about your document, including title and abstract. To select the type of document you are uploading, choose from the drop-down menus. When selecting the language of your document, a window will open, which allows you to upload the file directly from your computer. By clicking the ‘Save Page’ button on the bottom of the page, your document will be added to the platform automatically.


What type of content is available?

The PRC is a repository for RE project documents not widely available on the web, including sample terms of reference, sample contracts, examples of economic and financial analysis, case studies, etc.


What kind of content is not included?

The platform does not include any peer-reviewed publications and reports.

Please only upload documents that adhere to the criteria set out in the ADD documents form.


Will new content be added to the Project Resource Center?

Yes! Every registered energypedia user can add documents to the Project Resource Center.


Are there any restrictions on use of the content in the Project Resource Center?

If there are restrictions on the use of the documents available in the Project Resource Center, it is indicated in the document itself and/or through the license assigned to it.
