Our vision is a world of free knowledge exchange and mutual learning on renewable energies in which everyone has access to sustainable energy sources. Accessible, cleaner and more efficient technologies will foster human development and environmental protection worldwide. In accordance with this vision and following the UN Sustainable Energy For All Initiative, energypediapursues the goal of providing universal access to modern energy services by strengthening a borderlessglobal knowledge exchange.

To contribute to addressing the question of how universal and sustainable energy access for all can be achieved by:

  • Leveraging Web 2.0 technologies to remove knowledge barriers and expand the diffusion of information on energy issues in developing countries,
  • Fostering global collaborative knowledge exchange on renewable energy and energy access issues, and
  • Creating the right environment and providing useful tools for stakeholders engaged in the energy sector to collaborate, create and share knowledge and practical experience.
