Zephaniah Miano, the Factory Manager at Makomboki Tea Factory in Murang’a County, kindly hosted a site visit by project team members in March 2021, together with Elijah Karoki (KTDA Region 1 Regional Engineer) and Erick Mwangi (KTDA Region 1 Regional Operations Manager). We are also grateful to the fuel suppliers who shared their time and information
during visits to their facilities, including Dr Wilson Odiyo, Sammy Chege and Francis Wafula (Kakuzi PLC, Makuyu); Allan Marega and Miles Hargreaves (Global Supply Solutions, Thika); Festus Ngugi (Kings Biofuels, Murang’a); Sylvanus Onyango and Nils Razmilovic (Tamuwa, Kisumu); and Vijay Shah and Brenda Omolo (Lean Energy, Kisumu).
