Fuel Pricing Policies

Local Currency: SZL
Exchange Rate: 6.985

Last Update:

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy is responsible for marketing and distributing liquid fuels. Apparently (see →Annex A2), the ministry is also responsible for setting fuel prices. However, no information concerning fuel pricing could be found on the ministries website (http://www.gov.sz/..., see →A1 for a copy of that page).

An internet article (→A2) states, that fuel prices are set following the world market prices (and the exchange rate to the US-Dollar).

It is unclear, if there is a taxation or subsidy on fuels.
