Energypedia is a slim non-profit organization consisting of a young and committed group of founding partners and team members. Although the platform as such had already been developed earlier by the programme Energising Development (EnDev), energypedia as an independent organization was founded by four different shareholders. Team Lisa Feldmann Responsibilities: Administration, PR and Communication Background: Six years of working experience for GIZ’s programme on poverty-oriented basic energy services (HERA) Expertise in improved cookstoves, PR & knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation, energy access Master of Arts in communications, political science and cultural anthropology "Knowledge is key for the successful dissemination of renewable energies and a sustainable development in general. I am happy to be part of energypedia and to support practitioners worldwide to share their experience." Benjamin Rebenich Responsibilities: Fundraising and Public Relations Background: MSc. in Public Policy and Human Development, Maastricht University, The Netherlands Intern and volunteer for several development and human-rights organizations in Germany and Mexico Consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) "Energypedia is more than just an online platform, it's a social experiment to foster a more sustainable human development by freeing worldwide practical knowledge." Katharina Wiedemann Responsibilities: Quality Management and Community Management Background: Industrial engineering and management (Diploma), University of Applied Sciences in Munich Working experience in corporate responsibility projects of Bosch Siemens Home Appliances: "Protos the plantoilstove" and "Healthy Hoods, smoke hoods for developing countries". Intern and working student in Germany, China and Indonesia (Carl Zeiss, BSH, MTU Aero Engines). "Energypedia is a tool for everyone to spread and get knowledge in a specialized community. I like the idea of working together for better energy access worldwide and I am very happy to be part of this global project."
