Job description
ESMAP is seeking a Senior Energy Specialist (SES) to lead ESMAP’s Green Hydrogen Support Program. The SES will lead global knowledge work in the area of Green Hydrogen and provide technical support to World Bank’s operational teams at the regional and country levels. The SES will also support the team leading projects and initiatives in the area of Industrial Decarbonization.

The specialist will report to the manager of IEEES and will support IEEES with the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Management of the Green Hydrogen Support Program
  • Technical support to World Bank task teams preparing and implementing green hydrogen projects
  • Support to ESMAP Team managing the Industrial Decarbonization Program
