We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in working on renewable energy and renewable energy access as either a donor or in the design and delivery of on-the-ground programming. The individual should also have an affinity with the broader themes of the IKEA Foundation. Most importantly, the successful individual will demonstrate a strong commitment to the vision, mission and values of the IKEA Foundation. The IKEA Foundation is seeking an experienced Programme Manager with expertise in renewable energy access and how it relates to mitigating the effects of climate change and alleviating poverty in order to strengthen their Renewable Energy portfolio.The Programme Manager Renewable Energy is responsible for funding and monitoring initiatives within the portfolio. Together with the portfolio team, the Programme Manager gives interpretation around the Renewable Energy strategy which focuses on improving sustainable livelihoods. The aim is to spend available funding as responsibly and effectively as possible and to contribute optimally to the mission and vision of the IKEA Foundation., By joining the IKEA Foundation, you will join a global team that values diversity and creativity. This full-time (38 hours) position will be based in Leiden, The Netherlands, and the salary will be competitive with market rate.
