Eligibility/Description
The Government of Mozambique, through FUNAE, FP and with the support from the World Bank, under ProEnergia and Proenergia+, hereby communicates that it intends to support the off-grid solar energy and clean cooking solutions market with the aim of increasing access to energy solutions with a view to contribute to the achievement of universal access by 2030. This support will be in the form of subsidies to be delivered based on energy service level, region, energy access, productive uses and gender through a Results Based Financing Facility.


This Facility aims to reach about 300 thousand beneficiaries over the next 4 years across the country, with focus on Off-Grid and deep rural areas. 

To manage the Facility, FUNAE FP will hire an independent entity to act as Fund Manager.


In this context, FUNAE, FP invites all national and international experienced entities, capable of managing the Facility, now designated as Fund Manager, as well as potential companies in these markets, for a presentation of the Facility, which will take place on the 13th of June 2022 at Radisson Blu Hotel, from 2 to 5 pm. The event will be simultaneously virtual and in presence (observing health protocol).
