Overview
Mavuzi is a Hydro Power Plant in Manica Province, Mozambique. From mid-2015, the availability of electricity in the provinces of Manica and Sofala, in the centre of the country, will improve considerably by the injection on the distribution network of over 23 megawatts (MW) to be produced daily by the Chicamba and Mavuzi hydroelectric power stations, both located in Manica, after their restoration.[1]
