Objectives of the Workshop:

  • To present existing as well as emerging RE/EE market potentials and value based

employment opportunities in the MENA Region

  • To highlight and discuss possible policy approaches and instruments for enhancing socioeconomic

welfare through RE/EE in the MENA Region

  • To discuss how business can contribute to building up local RE/EE value chains and jobs and

what experiences are available in this respect

Format: Short presentation by each speaker (10 minutes) followed by a panel discussion and Q&A
