Description
Science for a Sustainable Future is a joint initiative of UN SDSN and Springer Nature. Now in its fourth year, the event brings together policymakers, government representatives, UN officials, and leading global scientists to discuss and advance the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals.
In light of the energy crisis impacting citizens and governments across the world, it’s important to consider how energy research, data, advice, and general information are communicated to different stakeholders. This includes communicating the scope of impact energy has on all of the SDGs (from gender to justice, to education, to health - energy is interlinked with so many other goals). Effective communication means transparency, accountability, trust, and increased understanding which can improve outcomes for citizens across the globe. This session invites different communicators to share their perspectives on energy communication.
