Registration will close on 11 August 2024, and you will receive a formal acknowledgment informing you of the outcome of your registration for in-person participation by 31 August 2024.
Registration evaluation process: Please note that the conference will be limited to 250 participants and we would like to ensure a participation as inclusive as possible with an equal gender balance as well as balanced representation between humanitarian-development practitioners, different organisations, policymakers, donors, investors, private sector entities, academia, and others. However, the evaluation of the registration will consider "first come - first serve" method to ensure the balance of representation. Therefore, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
If you want to cancel your participation after submitting your application, we humbly request you to send us an email at energy@unitar.org so that we can assign the place to another candidate.
Disclaimers: Please note that you will be responsible to organize and manage any expenses that may arise in regards to your participation at the HEC 2024 including travel, accommodation, food, visa fees, etc. UNITAR/GPA will not be able to sponsor or support any participants financially or guarantee any visas. We will also not be providing individual insurance for health and accidents in relation to your participation at the conference. There is no registration fees required for in-person participation at the event. However, lunch and dinner will be provided to the participants on the day of the HEC (7 October 2024). The details of the location of the venue will be communicated later.
Additional information: We are still considering an option for virtual participation and, depending on interest, will share more details on this in due course.
