Job description
AMDA is looking for a strategic and results-driven Regional Coordinator based in Abuja, Nigeria, to lead our West Africa operations. In this full-time role, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping policy engagement, stakeholder relations, and regional strategies to drive the success of our initiatives.

What You'll Make Happen:

  • Lead regional policy and regulatory engagement strategies
  • Coordinate market sessions and contribute to AMDA's annual strategy review
  • Drive member and stakeholder engagement, including building strong networks
  • Identify financing opportunities and collaborate on funding programs

Ideal Candidate:

  • Based in Nigeria with the right to work in the country
  • 5+ years of experience in renewable energy or DRE sectors in Africa
  • Strong understanding of regional markets, particularly Nigeria and DRC
  • Proven skills in research, policy advocacy, and strategy development
  • Fluency in English; French proficiency is a plus
