We are pleased to invite you to an official side event on Bridging the Global Goal on Adaptation and National Adaptation Efforts, being co-organised by the OECD-IEA Climate Change Expert Group (CCXG) and the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), on Saturday 21 June from 16:30 – 17:45 (CEST) at the UNFCCC Climate Change Conference in Bonn (room Kaminzimmer).
ABOUT THE EVENT
This event will explore key considerations for operationalising the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA) targets and indicators in the outcome of the UAE-Belém work programme. It aims to unpack how they can be effectively aligned with national monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems for adaptation. Through presentations and a moderated panel discussion, speakers will share diverse perspectives on capacity challenges, as well as approaches to integrating targets and indicators in planning and reporting instruments under the UNFCCC.
