This forum brings together leading climate organizations from Taiwan, South Korea, and Australia to share insights on the evolving process of formulating their respective Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) 3.0. As none of the three countries have officially submitted their NDC 3.0, the discussion offers a timely opportunity to reflect on the challenges, opportunities, and lessons emerging from their experiences.
We will explore whether the NDC 3.0 process has served as a policy anchor amid global headwinds against achieving net zero. Speakers will share perspectives on gaps that remain, and how civil society can help shape more ambitious and credible NDCs across the Asia-Pacific.
