Energypedia UG Nonprofit is an independent organization that was founded by four shareholders. The team consists of a young and committed group of founding partners and team members.

energypedia UG Nonprofit is the sole owner of the commercial subsidiary company energypedia consult UG (haftungsbeschränkt) which offers wiki-based software solutions and consultancy services.

The energypedia Team is working daily to improve energypedia and is your direct contact point.

  • Six years of working experience in GIZ’s program on poverty-oriented basic energy services (HERA)
  • Expertise in improved cookstoves, PR & knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation, energy access
  • Master of Arts in Communications, Political Science and Cultural Anthropology

  • Consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

Responsibilities: Quality Management

Background:

  • Industrial engineering and management (Diploma), University of Applied Sciences in Munich
  • Working experience in corporate responsibility projects of Bosch Siemens Home Appliances: "Protos the plantoilstove" and "Healthy Hoods, smoke hoods for developing countries".
  • Intern and working student in Germany, China and Indonesia (Carl Zeiss, BSH, MTU Aero Engines).

Robert Heine

Robert Heine is energypedia's founder. He is a monitoring and evaluation specialist who is a qualified geographer by education. Additionally, he holds a master degree in evaluation. In his professional life he has been mainly working for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in the project "Energising Development" and the executive department "Monitoring and Evaluation".

"Energypedia is primarily a platform to connect people and knowledge regarding renewable energy, but it is also a greater vision on how to make development cooperation more effective, transparent and efficient. That's why I founded energypedia."
