Energypedia is a slim non-profit organization consisting of a young and committed group of founding partners and team members. Although the platform as such had already been developed earlier by the programme Energising Development (EnDev), energypedia as an independent organization was founded by four different shareholders.

Working daily to improve energypedia and being your direct contact point is the energypedia energypedia team! Learn more about the people behind energypedia and their motives for being involved in it!

Responsibilities: Administration, PR and Communication

Background:

  • Six years of working experience for GIZ’s programme on poverty-oriented basic energy services (HERA)
  • Expertise in improved cookstoves, PR & knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation, energy access
  • Master of Arts in communications, political science and cultural anthropology

Responsibilities: Fundraising and Public Relations

Background:

  • MSc. in Public Policy and Human Development, Maastricht University, The Netherlands
  • Intern and volunteer for several development and human-rights organizations in Germany and Mexico
  • Consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

Responsibilities: Quality Management and Community Management

Background:

  • Industrial engineering and management (Diploma), University of Applied Sciences in Munich
  • Working experience in corporate responsibility projects of Bosch Siemens Home Appliances: "Protos the plantoilstove" and "Healthy Hoods, smoke hoods for developing countries".
  • Intern and working student in Germany, China and Indonesia (Carl Zeiss, BSH, MTU Aero Engines).
