Español: Un SGEn es una metodología para lograr la mejora sostenida y continua del desempeño energético en las organizaciones en una forma costo-efectiva, la cual se basa en un modelo de Planear/Hacer/Verificar/Actuar (PHVA). Este manual aporta una guía práctica para el diseño, la implementación, el mantenimiento y la mejora de un SGEn, de acuerdo con la Norma Mexicana NMX-J-SAA-50001-ANCE-IMNC-2001, equivalente a la Norma Internacional ISO 50001:2011, y facilita su integración a la estructura y estrategia de cualquier tipo de organización.
