The „Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority“ (MERA) regulates any energy prices in Malawi, including liquid fuels. On their internet homepage http://www.meramalawi.mw, there is no information available concerning actual fuel prices and fuel price compositions. According to several internet articles, fuel prices are adjusted several times a year, accounting for the changing import (=world market) prices.
